Kimberley Campaign Update

7 October, 2012

The recent photo exhibition and concert generated a lot of interest in what is happening in the Kimberley.

The Power and the Passion photographic exhibition at The Depot Gallery in Sydney ended last week.  Over 670 people came through the doors to view images of the magnificent Kimberley.  198 people enrolled as Wilderness Society Kimberley Campaigners.  What a fabulous outcome!

Last Friday, 5 October 2012, Melbourne's Federation Square hosted the Concert for the Kimberley, featuring the John Butler and Clare Bowditch.  About 6,000 people attended the free concert.  Former Federal Greens leader, Dr Bob Brown addressed the concert goers, saying that this concert was a powerful message from Melbourne to Canberra.  Hopefully, this concert will make its way across the country.
