Another God Light image, this one at James Price Point

Here is another example of some God light I blogged about yesterday, taken at James Price Point, just north of Broome, last October.

This is probably a better example of God light.  But again, same deal, shooting into the sun, nice clouds in the sky, with the sun's rays broken by the clouds.

Exposure can be a bit tricky.  I had actually taken a couple of shots, and bracketted the exposure by a couple of stops.  I had attempted to create a HDR (high dynamic range) image yesterday.  Nice colours and everything, but the clouds were moving quite quickly, so in the resulting HDR image, the clouds didn't align.  Nevermind.  I'll have to keep trying, and sooner or later I'll get it right.
